Bartolomé Oliver-Ponsell

By 2009, he produced new images that broke with all mentioned above. He start focusing on chromatic energy highlighting large-format paintings. This same year he lived a season in Sarasota, Florida, where he exhibited his art in several galleries. In 2010, he also presented his art in Mallorca-Spain, where he created some of his most famous works.

Bartolome Oliver-Ponsell was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. At age 14, he entered the Art School Cristobal Rojas in Caracas, Venezuela.

In 1969, his work entered a new phase marked by the influence of Pollock, Van Gogh, and Calder.

Bartolome is currently based in Colorado, where he works in the field of rhythmic pictorial art using strident colors, distorted expressionist forms, in search of capturing the observer's emotions.
